The Koroseal Calling All Creators design contest recently called upon Creators to share a design idea with us for a new digital wallcovering that emulates transformation, and sparks innovation. We were thrilled by the amount of submissions, and overwhelmed by the passion and creativity shared by so many individuals.
After reviewing over 100 entries, the judging panel - consisting of team members from our design, marketing, and sales teams - has selected three finalists. We are excited to share with you these three inspiring Creators and their designs. Starting April 30, be sure to help inspire the next generation of design and vote for your favorite. Help us choose which design will be transformed into a new innovative Koroseal digital wallcovering!

Tatiana Khalil
Schenkel Shultz Architecture | Architect / Graphic Designer / Artist | Orlando, FL
Behind the Design: The design draws inspiration from my dual identity as both a daily artist and avid traveler. It aims to inspire others by reflecting on my experiences and passions, creating a space that is both innovative and captivating. The “earthy” pattern can be appealing placed on a wall because it brings a sense of natural beauty and tranquility to the space. The flowing and organic nature of the pattern creates a calming atmosphere, while the earthy tones evoke a connection to nature, making the wall feel warm and inviting. Through a blend of artistic expression and global influences, the design seeks to spark creativity and offer a unique experience that resonates with people from all walks of life.
About the Creator: With diverse experience in architecture, graphic, and environmental design, Tatiana is a versatile artist. Tatiana has helped push the boundaries of creativity and functionality in various architecture projects, ranging from residential buildings to commercial complexes, and enjoys merging architectural elements with compelling visual narratives. As an artist and graphic designer, she believes in the power of storytelling.

Tomas Tillberg
Tomas Tillberg Design | Managing Partner & Artist | Weston, FL
Behind the Design: I created a wallcovering design that serves as a visual metaphor for transformation and innovation. The geometric shapes and vibrant colors I incorporated symbolize change and progress. Gradients, or layered textures, are used to convey depth and complexity, reflecting the multifaceted nature of innovation. I choose to incorporate metallic accents and iridescent finishes to evoke a sense of futuristic sophistication. I wanted the final design to stimulate the imagination and energize the space, fostering an environment conducive to innovation and transformation.
About the Creator: Tomas is a talented and seasoned artist. He was born in Stockholm, and attended the Royal Academy of Arts in Sweden. Tomas moved to the United states in 1995 and has since become a US citizen and noteworthy designer. Today, he shares his design talents as part owner of a design firm specializing in the interior design of cruise ships. His role at the firm was driven by Tomas’s experience and love of design from the days he worked alongside his father in Sweden.

Lisa Sneddon
LRS Architects | Interior Designer | Portland, OR
Behind the Design: When I search for a wallcovering, I like it to be 'bold' enough that you can see the pattern from a distance, especially if I want to make an impact. But, I also love details and the idea of a small print making up a very large print. This pattern is made of very tiny details that you don't notice until you are standing near it - art within art.
About the Creator: As a professional interior designer since 2013, Lisa has always been driven by her passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces. She specializes in senior living spaces and, just last year, began delving deeper into surface pattern design for wallcoverings, carpets, and fabrics. Residing with her husband and adorable dog, Lisa finds inspiration in the lush landscapes and vibrant art scene of her home in Portland, Oregon. Lisa aims to bring joy and beauty to people through thoughtful design, captivating patterns, and a little sense of humor.
