WALLCOVERING AWARDS RECEIVED

ADEX stands for Awards for Design Excellence and is the largest and most prestigious awards program for product design of furniture, fixtures and finishes marketed to the design trade. Design Journal founded and sponsors these awards, conferred by an anonymous panel of professionals representing a cross section of the design industry.

Corona		 The corona of the sun is a plasma atmosphere extending into space millions of kilometers. It is visible during total eclipses as a pearly white crown surrounding the sun. Our classic looking leather design has interpreted this spectral feature through the use of stitching. Staggered stitched circles are anchored on either side by vertical lines. Corona is destined to be a winner! This can be predicted with the same degree of certainty as the next total eclipse of the sun.
Hop© Tracey Reinberg®
Hop		 Hop is a playful and youthful expression inspired both in name and form by the game of hopscotch. Consisting of trails of "cockeyed" squares, it is reminiscent of the game board chalked on concrete sidewalks. It is a contemporized version of nostalgia of a by gone era. One that is characterized by long, hot, lazy summer days and cool lemonade, running through sprinklers and a complete sense of freedom.

Nirvana		 Nirvana's luminous, elegant surface has the look and feel of rich fabric cut and sewn in alternating "checks" to maximize light and texture. The deep, woodblock-like ridges bring to mind the eroded surfaces in romantic desert ravines where water once ran.
Cavendish© Sanitas®
Cavendish		 A classic and more masculine stripe enhanced by metallic strands that appear to be woven through the background. This design would be completely at home in the financial district. Cavendish is always crisp and alert, waiting for the next opportunity to sell.

Ostrich		 It's been said that every woman who had a mink coat in the 1940's had to have an alligator purse or ostrich skin clutch to go with it. We've taken the ostrich skin and translated it for the wall. It's luxury on a grand scale! Fool the eye (and the budget) because there's exceptional value here in addition to the superb aesthetic!
